That place is Leuwi Tonjong which is located in Jayamukti, Cihurip, South Garut district. Leuwi Tonjong is a river flow from Cihurip that flanked by two cliffs as high as 90-210m. Between the cliffs, there is a shallow bottom that the tourists can swim with no worries. To enjoy that beautiful place, we need more efforts because it is not about a long journey which we need to take 2-3 hours from the downtown, we will go through the steeps, rocky, and uphill roads that will complete our journey. Tourist Attration
Leuwi Tonjong is a tourist attraction that has not been touched by many people. When the day is brightening, the panorama is supported by clear blue skies and the appearance of a river flowing between two cliffs that are the center of attention in this place. Between the cliffs, there is a small flowing waterfall that adds to the beautiful harmony of the surrounding atmosphere. In the morning, the rays of the rising sun will flow between the cliffs. The light reflecting off the water gave off a warm orange tinge. The calm atmosphere plus the unique panorama is perfect as a place to relax and calm the mind. Leuwi Tonjong is not only able to enjoy its natural beauty. Here, tourists can swim and play in the air. The best time is during the dry season because the river air is still clear and shallow. But be careful when stepping because various rocks are ready to welcome you barefoot, ranging from sharp gravel to mossy rocks. Managers who come from local residents also provide a raft. This transportation, also known as getek, can be used by tourists who want to go along the river. Tourists can slide between cliffs, see the charm of a cliff up close or enjoy a waterfall.

Facilities and Infrastructure of Leuwi Tonjong
Both the facilities and infrastructure available are not sufficient. Road access is still difficult, parking area is limited, and there are minimal road signs. However, there are public facilities such as toilets, stalls, and a simple prayer room on site. But it doesn’t reduce the attraction of the visitors especially the photo spot offered and beautiful scenery. The shallow water pool can makes visitors able to feel the freshness there.
