New Destination in Cisayong Tasikmalaya
Cisayong is famous for its various interesting tourist attractions, one of the newest destination is “Kampung Kolecer”, this tourism opened on August 2020 and located in Wangun Village, Cisayong Tasikmalaya. This place can be accessed about 30 minutes from downtown Tasikmalaya. Transportation is easily available, although the distance from Jakarta to this Kampung is about 250km, and from Bandung is about 100km, this journey can easily be covered by either public or private transport.

Unique Facts of Kampung Kolecer
Visitors can find the uniqueness in Kampung Kolecer. With only pay a ticket of Rp. 2000, tourists can enjoy and access all corners of the place including the natural beauty of the village because it is in the middle of rice fields so that it offers a fresh and comfortable atmosphere.
There is a festival called the kolecer festival where residents make various types of kolecer (bamboo windmills) as preservation of Sundanese arts and games. This festival was also the beginning of Kampung Kolecer as well as the naming of this tourist spot with the famous festival. This place is very thick with culture because kolecer (bamboo windmill) is a typical Sundanese game which is also trying to be introduced to the younger generation today because of its existence that has begun to be forgotten. This place is also planned to be made into cultural tourism, agro-tourism with local agricultural processing, and even religious tourism because there are sacred graves of important figures in that place. Furthermore, it is also planned to build a homestay that allows tourists to more freely explore the place, including night tours of the Kolecer village.
